Moving forward - Kitchen renovation
Things are moving along with the kitchen reno. Unless you LOVE living in a mess 24/7 do not try this. I'm serious, kitchen renovations are not for the faint at heart. There is dirt everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE! Dirt does not discriminate. It will move to the family room, bathroom, bedrooms, garage, you get the picture. It doesn't care. Dirt thinks if you want me you are going to get a double or triple dose of me and you are going to love it!! Here are the cabinets with the tops closed in and painted inside and out. I used Annie Sloan Old White on the outside and a light grey (I forget the name) on the inside. So far so good. But still a mess and still lots of dirt. Counter tops are installed along with the back splash. The counter tops are black walnut butcher block from Lumber Liquidators. Installation of the tile is moving along quite nicely.
